A quick troubleshooting question about the M Audio DUo USB preamp.

I've bought one second hand, installed it (windows XP), it powers up and I can select it in my recoridng program (cakewalk). However, the Phantom Power doesn't seem to turn on, nor can I get any mic input (using a condenser mic).

Has anyone had similar problem, or could direct me to anything dealing with M-audio troubleshooting (other than the m-audio support, which is woeful).

I've had the same problem with Mac OSX. I'd be very interested to hear if you've found a solution to your problem.
