Thread Recording from a midi-keyboard into Reason 3.0

Hello. I've just went on and buyed me a Behringer UMX49 midi-keyboard. The problem is that I can hear the notes I play in Reason, but I can't get them recorded, any solutions? Also, everytime I hook up a new instrument i have to go to the "Midi In Device" and choose channel 1, and then mark the device I want to play from? Is there any easy way to solve this?

ive been having the exact same problem with the exact same keyboard. let us know if you get it sorted cause its pissing me off.
