Recording from a midi-keyboard into Reason 3.0

Hello. I've just went on and buyed me a Behringer UMX49 midi-keyboard. The problem is that I can hear the notes I play in Reason, but I can't get them recorded, any solutions? Also, everytime I hook up a new instrument i have to go to the "Midi In Device" and choose channel 1, and then mark the device I want to play from? Is there any easy way to solve this?
