Problem Recording Cool edit 2.1 and Keyboard Yamaha DGX-205 USB

I bought the USB cable for the keyboard and I want to start recording from it with Cool Edit pro 2.1. I tried several things but with no success. Can anyone help me? Thanks!

The usb connection does not transfer audio data. It makes the Yamaha function as a midi interface. You will need midi sequencing software such as Sonar and Cubase to record midi data. Cool Edit is an audio recording and editing software only. If you want to record your performances using Cool Edit, you will have to connect audio cables from the yamaha outputs to the line inputs of your soundcard.
