Published on 10/09/11 at 05:30The beast comes from mad'in korea, it is fairly well equipped with micro EMG (cell) with two singles (EMG SA) and double (EMG 89), with a volume knob, one tone and a boost. The selector is 5 positions. The mechanical oil bath system with lock, 22 frets that are finer than the jumbos, I do not know what it is. The vibrato is like Wilkinson.
The only disappointment I have on this material is that the mechanical oil begins to lose .. (Ca is about 4/5ans I own this Great)
UTILIZATION
What is its use, I find it really nice.
The handle is smooth, whether it's with or without the sweaty palms, it does not pose a problem. Personally, I did once experience on hard ground, where it hangs awful, I'm not totally a fan ... And here, I 'did not have a problem.
Access to treble is not too too bad, but went for the last two frets, I hassle a bit, but it's not too much in my style of games gone this far, I think we have s 'to make his next game.
Its weight is low, I am comfortable while standing, no particular problem.
SOUNDS
So here it is here that plays all. This guitar is incredibly versatile.
I started playing on it by a lot of rock style of AC / DC, Guns'n'Roses ... (I'd buy for it, having watched that sounds vaguely clear.) Then, I recently turned to the blues and even jazz. I am completely amazed to see this guitar meet all my desires, all while passing the microphone double boost for its typically a hard / heavy as the two used to have a simple clean sound. (Remember I use a Vox AC30 for both styles with a signature Satriani pedal to bring distortion to the amp. The rendering is the same on the other, tested on Marshall, Fender and Line 6)
This gives a response as strong on one side than the other. The micro switch has six positions, the color palette is so well represented!
Do not necessarily think that EMG = Metallica. These EMG is really surprising and pleasing to my taste.
OVERALL OPINION
I tried different guitars, but not the masses. Two Fender, a Lag Roxane, a Jackson Flying V, a Yamaha RX-2.
I immediately cracked the Rock's really true for my taste, and over time I noticed that this guitar is extremely versatile. Compared to the clean sound of a strat banal, I can tell you that the sound of the Cort is great.
The only regret is this small loss of oil, but hey, since there it bothers me ...
I really remake this choice without hesitation, because I love hard rock and jazz is a style I like for its openness.
