Made in France, pure LAG cut shredders wanting to still have the versatility!
- Alder body (mine has a blue finish "lizard skin")
- Maple neck and rosewood fingerboard scallopées in the last three boxes at the upper strings. The back of the neck was cut to suit both small and large hands.
- The heel of the neck has been worked to bring comfort in the boxes acute
- The frets are among 24 cases of type jumbo
- CONFIGURATION OF HSH micro type, with a most excellent Micor acute Seymour Duncan SH11, a single coil in the middle LAG, LAG, and a humbucker in the grave.
- The bridge is a Floyd Rose type brand LAG, subcontracted by Schaller. Not bad at all, it happens quickly enough, however, out of breath if you have questions sound quite accustomed to using it.
- A single button: it's a master volume but that is push-pull splitter for the 2 humbuckers. The micro switch is fender type 5 position.
- Small interesting detail: the jack is not exactly located perpendicular to the edge of the body, but very slight angle to facilitate the jack to be positioned when playing seated.
- The little nicer: delivered in hard case stamped "LAG"
If I listen, I is 10/10, but some may regret the lack of tone knob ... so I put that 9 / 10. But it's really to quibble ...
UTILIZATION
- Handle: ralalalalalaaaaaa! What a treat! We go happily power-chords to jazz arrangements (with the thumb over the stick to certain agreements jaezz convoluted) with NO problems! Everyone will be comfortable on the sleeve! It is played alone, and without effort! Whatever your hand morphology, this race will suit you: not too broad, not too small, not too flat, not too long, a radius mat ... THE BOMB!!
- Access to the last box is facilitated by the heel that has been worked through. It reaches the last carefree boxes without forcing.
- The guitar does not break your back in case of extended wear while standing. The strings vibrate well throughout the body, providing excellent sound propagation, and a very good sustain despite the presence of floyd. As the guitar has rounded shapes around the body, it is very comfortable, much like the Ibanez Joe Satriani Signature.
- The pickups seem to have been designed to work with the stringed guitar. A great surprise that I detail below ...
10/10 without hesitation I put a second one
SOUNDS
I play mostly metal music style, and hard rock. However, I have been looking for a guitar that would allow me to play these styles with the ability to play anything without sacrificing the sound I wanted at first. And now I have my house!
I play with an amp Hughes & Kettner Attax 40, which has a beautiful clean sound with an effects Rocktron Taboo Artist plugged into it. With this configuration, and this lag, it's simple, I can really play as ANY kind of music where the guitar is present. Much versatility bluffing me again even though I prize the first guitar to play metal.
Already, the sounds of bases are staggering versatility: very GIBSON on humbuckers (with a bit more precision and less serious bavouillent to the point of becoming unmanageable), and very slap on the positions where the simple LAG is activated (position 2.3.4 of micro switch). The TB11 in acute sounds very warm and open, but very powerful and very accurate, great for solos with a beautiful grain. The Humbucker LAG brings the big sound round and warm in serious position, while remaining clean.
The other three positions in turn sounded crystal clear, chattering, very bright, country, etc depending on the selected position. But if more is actuated split the humbuckers, everything is playable without any effort or having to fiddle sasn settings of the amp or pedals: Dire Straits to Pink Floyd, to ERIC CLAPTON, all the sounds of single coils are at your fingertips!
OVERALL OPINION
This guitar was customized according to my needs Guitarist:
- Change of LAG with a real floyd floyd SCHALLER (better long-term strength and better resistance agree)
- Change of grave LAG by a micro micro Dimarzio
Suffice to say that now, my guitar has become an ultimate music machine!
Today, I can really play metal continuously and use this guitar to play other styles without having to change guitars for other sounds.
I would put 9 / 10 only because the LAG will floyd time faster than a floyd-known brand, which is a minor drawback given the excellent technical performance of the machine, and also the lack of button tone (which I personally never does). But if I listen, I put 10/10
