J bought my strat us in 2000.
J liked the sound of the neck pickup to the bridge pickup limit but slightly changing the equalization of the amp.

The order placed, I got the set L Series that I have chosen, well packed, very pro.

When replacing the pickups, I haven had any problems at the technical level but to adjust the height of the pickups have royally screwed up day.

That said, when I plugged my guitar, ca was first of a shock. J had the impression of having another instrument, I did not recognize my guitare.Je did not think the sound would be much changed!
M surprised two things:

1) The sound balance: All strings sound and an extraordinary relief. Agree, c is happiness, even attacking a little, nothing is messy, everything is precise low E to high E! But the icing on the cake is that the c n has no less than character, quite the contrary! There are many dynamic and can qualify his game softer aggressive.
2) positions: amazing, I have a guitar with more sounds now!

Also, that I am not a fan of the intermediate positions, I find myself using them more and more. In fact in all positions, I have the impression of having even under the foot, it's really what I was missing before and I was looking for. The guitar responds now, I feel alive and sensitive!

I think the strat, by nature is a guitar that highlights the personality of the guitarist. So I would not voluntarily reference to the sound of this guitar to say that these mics near the sound, there are many strats sounds that guitarists who play ...

Received before the Christmas holidays and mounted in 15 days on a Japanese strat early 90s.
I confess that already before mounting, it exudes quality and a job well done!

Having a custom shop stratocaster left, I went in search of a more upscale set the fender "classic" but it is clear that the left-handed sets are not legion.

I use these mics for 1 month

I have long been on my Strat Ultra with lace senior (blue, silver, red 2x) home I found a little cold with a lack of character ... but still versatile enough! I then decided to put as much of Texas for special SRV sound without too much fuss with the famous bump on the medium, the tube screamer, the fender lamp has "The mix" complete what it s ... 'in close but not really good c that ... not too powerful microphone and gets a little dirty when you push the disto ... I said good c is not the stuff my fingers! and he always tells you a guy who does not want that SRV! He played in 13 ... Or 17 on the high E key .. and then it's rosewood c ..... and it is much better than anyone to ring a scratch!
I decided nevertheless to continue my quest (GAS would have it) Then I moved to the Fralin Blues Special,
The Fralin was probably the most bluesy, very typical and clean pretty convincing a slight overdrive! But if we go in disto type Power blues that becomes less clean under defined below what one draws in overdrive c very kind to the blues by definition!!
Turning finally to the tornado 60 L series!

The sound is also very convincing in overdrive.
