Opinions are indeed very severe, and most undeserved ...
For the price, this headset is quite impressive. In the studio I always use my old Sony MDR7506 on which I have all my marks. But occasionally I sometimes use to check a mix qq other bowls, and the HD202 is never uninteresting. And it's really light and quite durable: the headphones come off easily support what is seen and prevents breakage classic rigid plastic as the Sony low-end for example. For its price, it's a good headphone.
