Following the footsteps of its bigger brother, the BC543, the BC332 is designed to offer a directivity controlled, high output, sub-bass response, for low-frequency extension of an Alcons pro-ribbon system.
By means of a front and rear located woofer configuration, in combination with dedicated processing, the BC332 enables selectable cardioid low-frequency pattern control and rear rejection (up to 18dB), without the need for additional cabinets.
On the front side, one 18” long-excursion woofer with 4-in. voice-coil with double-spider and demodulation ring frame, is mounted in a front-loaded configuration, with X-Venting. On the rear side, a single 15” long-excursion woofer with 4-in. voice-coil with double-spider and demodulation ring frame, is mounted in a “front”-loaded configuration, with Flank-Venting port.
System impedance is 2×4 ohms. The frequency response starts at 35Hz (-3dB) and is designed to offer a “colourless” low frequency enhancement of an Alcons pro-ribbon sound system. The ALC preset library contains cardioid settings for rear-/side-ward attenuation.
The BV332 is finished in Durotect scratch-resistant coating and comes with a 6-year limited warranty.
