Rig::Sonics, a young processing plug-in developer, released the Mid/Side Controller piece of software for Mac OS X and Windows.
The name of the plug-in say is all. You can use if for Mid/Side processing using stereo signals or two identical tracks, in order to enhance, reduce or move the stereo image in a mix, and even to create asymmetrical stereo images.
The GUI is divided into two sections: Mid Solo with a gain knob and Side Solo with right and left gain controls, a Link button and a phase revert control.
The plug-in also features an A/B comparison feature and supports the host automation.
The Mid/Side Controller is available in VST and AU 32 and 64-bit formats for Mac OS X and Windows. Its price is 6.99€ and you can purchase it at www.rigsonics.com.
