Reloop launches the RMP-4 hybrid CDJ

Reloop introduces the latest member of their CDJ family, the RMP-4, a hybrid player that allows for controlling your favorite DJ software.

The new Reloop RMP-4 can play CDs and audio files in MP3, WAV, AAC and AIFF formats from the built-in player and USB port, as well as control any MIDI DJ software. You can even link two RMP-4 and share a USB source, control a software, sync the beat and more.

The RMP-4 offers four performance modes with 8 trigger pads for the hot cue, hot loop, loop roll and sampler functions. You also get a Keylock (master tempo) feature for tone modulation, quantization for cues and loops, a Slip mode, brake and reverse effects as well as the common controls found of DJ units, among which

A touch jog with Vinyl/CDJ modes

  • A VFD Dotmatrix display
  • A 100mm pitch fader
  • A quick search knob
  • A transport section
  • 7 Auto Beat Loop buttons

 

Outputs are RCA connectors and a USB port allows for connecting the RMP-4 to a computer.

The Reloop RMP-4 ships with a database manager software for Mac and Windows, which will analyze you sound library. MIDI mappings are also offered for the most popular DJ software.
