I just bought this M-Audio Keystation 49e. It came with Appleton Live 6 software that looks great. Unfortunately, in the week I've had it, it hasn't made a single sound other than the clicking of the dead keys. I use Windows XP and the 49e is a USB keyboard. Everyone I've talked to tells me, "Those are great! Just plug and play!". I wish... :/

Anyway. I'm new here so let me say that I'm 50+ and I've played blues and jazz guitar semi-pro since I was 12 years old. Then, I got MS which landed me in a wheelchair and ended my guitar playing. I can still handle a keyboard - if I could just find one that I can connect!!

Any help or hints you have would be really appreciated!
