looking for mod. priced laptop to take with me to capture those riffs when they happen in my noodle...does anyone know the least messiest and simple laptop to use to plug guitar directly into. ive heard jamlab is simplest. any ideas. so many to choose from..i hear apple alot. but not sure. thought id try a musican forum to see if i can get any unbiased answers. something to keep in handy when traveling. dont want cheesy quality either.

apple ain't cheep, but its good, i like the HP zv6000 -something like that-, then dell seems to get good reviews. no me gusta toshiba, i find their quality sucks.
