how to setup midi with nuendo

i brought new EMU 0404 Card and want to configure it with Nuendo 3.2.
i used my own way to connect but no sound from speakers.
card is installed audio is working fine.
after adding new midi track and routing it to inbuild synth A1 with keyboards local off no sound.

my sytem is PIII 1GHz with 256 MB Ram with intel 810e chipset.
is there any other setting. please help me.
