Now that Apple is in the Intel arena is it still a choice for recording? I'd like to either use it or a PC notebook to to record other groups.
I need to go to their house and set-up a m-audio firewire with a laptop, running cubase or pro-tool M-Powered.
Just trying to see which will give the most bang for buck!!!

The age old question - I guess it depends which corner your fighting, but personally - stick with PC - you know your way around it, and know how to handle it when things go wrong.
Oh, and yes, it IS JUST AS EASY to crash a mac as it is to crash a PC ... so they are no more / less reliable.

stick with PC for just 1 reason: compatibility
mac or pc... today this question is pointless since both can do exactly the same things.

Thanks! The PC has more music software and people are improving stuff day by day!
