Thread Behringer UCG102 and CoolEdit - are they compatible ?

Hello everyone and thanks in advance to anyone who considers helping me. Ok I'm completely new to this, I've played guitar on and off for some years but would like to be able to record some ideas. I've been given Cool Edit by a fellow musician and bought a Behringer UCG102 in the hope that they are compatible. Has anyone used this configuration with success ? Cheers, Nick

Cheers, thanks for the reply. Do you know if these two can be used together rather than buying something else? Or is it a total no go ?

if i were you i would rather choose a VST-compatible sequencer. cool edit does not support vst.

try a light version of cubase, like Cubase SL. At least it will give you more options than cool edit.
