Telecaster Made in Japan (not crafted in japan) dating from 1993 to 1994 following its serial number.
This is apparently a limited edition of 100 copies., Mine with the rating 87/100.
21 frets, 2 pickups TL japan
Vintage bridge saddles with big massive well-chrome (not like my hw!)
Mechanical oil bath GOTOH, very good performance tuning.
Maple neck (Mapple) type "U-shaped" very comfortable, good grip, quality! Lutherie general hardware / excellent finish for the instrument. The Japanese are really good luthiers, it has nothing to say.
The rest is a tele so selector 3 positions, 1 tone knob, one of theft.
Mine (that of the photo) has a white blonde finish off the most beautiful effect!
I put 9 because no one is perfect and although this TV is perfect.

UTILIZATION

The handle is a real treat. Nothing to fear from a U.S. Std Tele, very comfortable, well balanced and it vibrates. a lot of sustain.
So it's a tele access to acute is not the strong point of this instrument even if all this is very correct.
The guitar is fairly light (3.4 kg).
Not need a century to find its sound!

SOUNDS

I play a little bit of everything (rock, reggae, jazz ...) and say what you can do many things with a tele!
Still, there it is perfect for what I play (fortunately at the same time
I plug in the beautiful mesa subway rocket reverb, and the mixture is how to say "explosive".
The nuances between the different combinations of micro are met and the definition of its very good. moving from one's blues / jazz (neck) to a more rock (middle) to a big sound (bridge) which suits well with the channel distortion of the mesa.
These pickups really a peach of thunder, very reactive to attack by the mediator, you get a hot or dry depending on the setting and always full of harmonics.

OVERALL OPINION

I have this telecaster Reis. 72 for several weeks now and I must say it is a Grat that I recommend to anyone looking for a real tele sound uncompromising.
Most:
- Handle very very very good,
- Flawless finish and excellent violin
- Quality microphones
The -:
- The setting of trussroad is through the side neck microphone (and not by the head of the handle), so it's less convenient.
Otherwise, I do not see at the moment, you may need to wait a little longer to make a comeback after six months / one year.
In any case, it is comparable (except pickups though ...) to a U.S. Std telecaster, that's clear. I do not know the MIJ tele coming out today and have rather good news but what I can say is that the series MIJ 90 years are really excellent and a great price (I got it there to € 480 in FDP on ebay ...)!
In the jungle of hw / mex...c is really a good compromise with quality flawless finish.
If you find one, go for it, that's good!
