UTILIZATION

Trendy les paul, I wanted a ride "side fender" with the squier.
not at all tempted by the stratum, I wanted to test a telecaster, and not take risks I first made this squier affinity.

So buying opportunity to get an idea.

SOUNDS

I must say that this guitar is great for its price!
more than playable (I have made repeated with true), the sound is quite honorable, the handle is well made, the guitar is well finished overall, do not worry electronics.

Then, looking closer, it just spoils: the highs are too aggressive and fast dry, the neck pickup lacks a bit of roundness, and the handle grip a bit ...

but there are a few tele sound, which is not bad for the price!

short, conquered by the sound, but not the guitar I bought after a fender tele, and it's night and day in terms of quality (the price is not the same either ...)

balance: good guitar to start or telecaster test the mind, but a little light to the real face models, especially if you already know the guitars of good quality.

OVERALL OPINION

I kept it a year before moving to a fender.

I would have kept as a backup guitar if I did not want to reduce some of my stock.

Perhaps it can serve as a basis for improvement?

In any case, the ratio Q / P is very interesting and it remains largely a playable guitar for a very affordable price.
