At Toontrack, last November was Metal Month; and now, for something completely different, the upcoming February was announced as Country Month.
This February, Toontrack is running with a songwriting and country music theme, with new releases to be expected.
Also, Toontrack would like to share music from its users on their upcoming special theme page, with a massive player and at least one song to be selected every week to highlight – including an interview of the composer(s).
If you have something in the vein of country/pop or singer-songwriter and want a chance to be featured, here’s what to do:
- Upload your song to SoundCloud
- Send your SoundCloud link to songwriter*at*toontrack*dot*com
- Feel free to share it in your social media with the tag #ToontrackCountryMonth
Of course, you have to make sure your song is public and that permissions are set so it can be shared.
As for the new releases, more details are to follow. Possibly the entire range will be covered with new drums (and perhaps this time also keys) MIDI loops, an EZX and/or SD2, a new EZKeys piano banks and an EZMix pack, but of course these are just wild guesses. And you, what would you like to see Toontrack add in priority to their catalog in a country/pop vibe? Don’t hesitate to comment this news with YOUR expectations.
