Hughes & Kettner celebrates its 30 anniversary with a special limited edition of its TubeMeister heads.
For this special occasion, Hughes & Kettner equipped its TubeMeister 18 and TubeMeister 36 amp heads were equipped with Soviet NOS EL84 tubes, which were manufactured long before the brand even existed. These tubes come from the Saratov factories and were manufactured for the military aircraft industry.
According to Hughes & Kettner, these NOS EL84 tubes provide more output than the actual EL84, so you’ll get more headroom and punch for your saturated sounds.
These Anniversary models also feature a front “30th Anniversary” blue logo. As for the rest, their specifications remain identical to the standard versions (12AX7 preamp tubes, Red Box DI output, Power Soak…).
