Tube amp: 4 * 12AX7 preamp in which to drive and a 4 * 6L6 power
Power: 100W
Single channel with a drive ("additional distortion") Snap / disengage
Hi entries with a boost of 6 dB (recommended for guitars with single coil) and Lo (no boost, rather for humbuckers).
Hp output on the back in different impedances.
An effects loop with mix knob (different use depending on the setting: insert or side chain)
A footswitch input to start the drive
Settings:
Resonance (on / off)
Presence
B / M / T
Gain
Master
Drive
UTILIZATION
Very easy to use
Master button is very sensitive early in the race, attention ears!
Beware of spare parts and maintenance because the amp is apparently more important.
SOUNDS
The amp is single channel so you can:
or play with little gain and start the drive to skiing: it has a crunch and distortion rock / hard
or play without saving and start the drive for a crunch
is to gain in depth and the drive to the bottom: then we have a big metal saturation
Personally, I think this amp is without concessions, ie it gives the essence putting all thoroughly. It then approaches a triple X sounds. For cons, the downside is that you do not have a clear sound.
The grain is beautiful, does not bleed like a Marshmall, the dynamic is excellent, the settings effective without being excessive. Good clear sound as well.
OVERALL OPINION
I bought this amp a year ago and a half to a friend who had acquired it second hand. I had many problems with a priori but the amp had been hacked by the original owner so I do not know what part due to the amp and that attributable to the original purchaser.
What I like most: his drive to gain + background really fabulous
What I like least: its lack of versatility. Ideally, the same thing in two channels
The report his / price is excellent
I turned instead to a double or triple so keep that channel or head saturation and another in the clear
