All-tube head 100Watt, 2 channel, reverb, loop.

UTILIZATION

Super mega simple, level and gain indépandant EQ per channel and common. It is therefore a homogeneous amp EQ does not interfere too common.
Marshall is the caricature as can be, no matter the position of the knobs for EQ, there's always the same, so 2 = 2-channel sound. The clean has a good gain margin before saturation is quite nice.

SOUNDS

Wow I'm not destester Marshall, this one I like it. The clean is worthy of a good transistor, I think I have the same on my AVT. There is no depth and little momentum, very little extent, the sound seems very tighten, narrow. However I tested it on an 4x12 ".
For saturation, I played the AC / DC and a little Led Zep ... But nothing else (though I do not lack influence and reference) I was hyper blocked. The sound is distinctive and highly inflexible, you must love the amp as the spit, but then I found it particularly dirty, rough ... And always flat and narrow, as if I was playing on a small amp while it is supposed to send the wood ... I had the same presence / power projection and the same with my AVT100 Bof bof ... everything.

OVERALL OPINION

According to the forums There is the JCM800 and JCM2000 worth every penny in Marshall, I am at least agree that the JCM900 is below the JCM2000. I've never played on a 800, but I do not miss it.
Well, this amp has disappointed me, the same day I played a JCM2000 TSL122, a C50, a Hot Rod, an AC-30 and F30 and I all found above the JCM900. You really liked, and even though I'm not a big fan of Marshall JCM2000 I found the very good and I recommend it, but this one is rather poor.
I think we can find much better for the same price, while still in his "English" type Marshall.
