Published on 07/25/11 at 07:412 W amplifier with master lamps.
two 12AX7 and one 12AU7
EQ on channel bright.
2 switch positions: bright and thick.
no stand-by, say ings of the vox have not needed a jug.
UTILIZATION
one branch, it sounds ...
SOUNDS
Used with different layers, or US mex, HSS and SSS, in light crunch or distortion it sounds wonderful. 2/5W far the best I've tried. I imagine in a 2X12 ca not be wrong ..
we obtain an incredible range of sounds. compared to my AC30, you get a more garage rock sound, more raucous.
I was afraid he does not overlap at all. Finally, it has a wider range than the AC30.
it's just difficult to venture into the big rock 80's eg, scorpion style, even when it lacks the trunk. Attention is lacking in power: it takes off a good background wallpaper!
It's sorely lacking when even a reverb and vibrato of the AC30 I miss.
It trs take pedals well.
As it has no footswitch, I prefer him to add a distortion pedal for that to play manually switch in the middle of a song. I rule in the clear / very slight crunch, and I behind an OD-808 followed by Marshall Bluesbreaker II, I finished the set with an MXR phase 90 and a delay Echopark (a killing).
OVERALL OPINION
-2 Weeks
- I tried a bunch of 5W Amp: Bugera, laney, vox ac4, Blackheart, marshall class 5 ...
- I like:
aesthetics, it is still super fine.
The extent of its sonic palette, I'm bluffing.
the sound more harsh and more parking than the AC30, while maintaining perfect sound you expect from a vox.
The award, with his 280 cab ..
weight (pen)
Power, amazing.
not at all a gadjet.
- I do not like:
the lack of a footswitch for the channels,
No reverb
No stand-by, it's scary to light as a. At the same time on my head Haze 15 there was not.
A quality report 280eu price perfect for me.
