Hybrid transistor preamp and lamps with the technology of ART V3 as well as standard 24-bit/96kHz converters. You can set the grain of the preamp with a selector.
Connectors XLR and Jack input and analog output. There is also an insert, but the converter is placed before and after the analog output -> so we can not monitor the insert if it does not pass through a PC. Digital output in ADAT, S / PDIF optical and coaxial as well as word clock input (nice!)

UTILIZATION

It has highly developed settings. Besides the gain, phantom power supply button and the button phase inversion, there is a setting of the input impedance (it plays on the color of the microphone), a button boost (+20 dB) to approach the floor to study the saturation and therefore have this little grain if desired.
It is compatible Adat 24/96, and it allows to copy an input signal and just replace two original channels of ADAT signal converted by the signals in the preamp.
The manual is clear and explains how to configure the converter (the rest, no need for manual).

SOUND QUALITY

The sound is purely amazing! Thanks to technology we can have a V3 largel range of sounds. I no longer use him in my home studio, both in direct box for my electric guitar for singing or making noise with my NT1-A.

OVERALL OPINION

A very versatile machine, perfect to start a home studio, keeping a maximum of sonic possibilities. I use it for several months and I do not regret at all, I plan to buy the same associated compressor (TCS I think ...)
