Analog preamp vacuum tube
low-cut filter, phase reverse, +48 v and dosage of the "effect lamp"

UTILIZATION

A preamp is all there to be more simple, when you buy a product like this, we should have aucunne issues regarding the use

SOUND QUALITY

Here I want to make a point, the most curious of you auron removed the hood and will appercus that lamps do not light up for themselves ... it is actually deuce small filament lamps that are placed just behind that give that impression. recess, impossible to do if you do not remove the cover ...
So here, this is not a surprise to have seen a preamp tube "avalon" "dbx" "studies" (very good brand, or at least very expensive ") lamps are not much light is on! but in no case does this mean that the dedant mounted 12AX7 are fake, he is a visual effect for a little flatter our oeuil amateur Aguer. Now back a little to the technique with a little logic:
if the lights are there only to flatter the aesthetical, they are certainly a source of Energy consumption and especially heat inside our preamp! So remove them can only be beneficial to the preamp! and besides, it makes the replacement lamps for neck or other signs that light up our instruments and that's really useful!
beyond this detail is a preamp to match the price, it is pretty good, yes, the button "Warmth" adds little to interressant

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 1 year
I am happy after all, is a relatively effectively and reliably for me
I had to try OCASI dbx, Studer, and Autes avalon (drawer etc) and the small-Chinese allmano doing well for a price that leaves me even better now!
I do it again this choice
