Pre-tube amp (12AX7) for voice, guitar and bass.
DI can be used as well.
Connectors XLR and JACK
Model 1 / 3 of Unit
UTILIZATION
getting started simple enough, if still manual and some forums
SOUND QUALITY
The quality is pretty good I think.
with a good microphone and a good investment (especially a good guitarist), we have taken the beautiful acoustics.
For voice, the sound is warm and friendly: no worries.
nice output of pedal power scraper (but it's still a foot)
I will try soon on a bass.
OVERALL OPINION
I for 2 years now.
I have not tried other models (at home I prefer to compare with the same sound and the same stuff behind)
we can always do better, but the price / quality ratio is still outstanding!
I think we just improve it, including changing the lamp (without a miracle, but small streams make big rivers ...)
I can redeem a soon by putting two different lamps to each (two different colors for instruments and vocals).
06/09/2011: I changed the original lamp with a "SPAX 12AX7 Mesa Boogie."
(Test carried out with a looper, MXL 9000 microphone, babyface RME)
not a huge difference but it will be felt still in a mix.
The lower medium is more friendly, better defined.
Treble better too but it is less obvious.
