I started mixing 4 months ago, I am a beginner who is the most banal. I listen to a lot of hip hop so I got into it for scratching. I am a little bit lonely in my hometown to introduce myself to scratch, and the only advice I could get were of the Internet. Thus, not obvious to try different decks, and even less easy to pick one when we see the myth (legitimate) against mk2, vestax or numark, and look at the narrow our portfolio. I finally opted for the Stanton t62 (t60 only difference with the color).
Result: I would say it's great to start, especially for the price. Let's say that after purchasing and tested on a few times, buy directly from big stuff is only useful if you have a budget adequate: there is no need to ruin if it has no basis. In other words, it is not because we start with technics mk2 we will move forward, the background remains the same: practice, practice and more practice. That is why this board seems good to begin with. Sure it has some defects, at least for the scratch, as the speed of recovery, but I used a little technical "builder" (from this video 2min30 https://www.djtutor.com / djangelouk /? va = DJAngeloUK rM8q1bWcEbg & ref = & page = & limit = & zn = & sv = introduction_ tutor), and for now I need not complain. I will change one day, for sure, but I do not regret my choice in any way for this deck. Another advantage: the cells are included with, and seem to hold out (at least after 4 months).
In short, a beginner will find what they need in this deck, and it's for one low price.
