hiya,

we just purchased a new pc recently,

AMD 3200+
Gigabyte Mainboard (cant remember model, sorry)
2gb ddr 400+ ram
250gb seagate hdd

running xp pro.

i just forked out 800 bucks for a nice new mbox and truth be told (perhaps due to my own ignorance) i havn't been too impressed at all

crappy assimilated versions of software i.e reason adapted (shudder) and a few others.
But anyway, i'm whinging, my questions are

1. windows will not allow me to set the audio device as my mbox, it picks up "digidesign mbox ch1-2" in the sound playback tab yet it still says 'no audio device' and it crashes my comp whenver i try to run another sound based application, games dvds etc. help pleeeeaase!

2. will my mbox mic inputs be able to be used with sonar 5? i hope so

thanks heaps in advance!
