TopicPosted on 05/04/2018 at 02:13:57How to switch headphones outputs to mono?
Hi,
I have recently replaced my interface with a Clarett 8pre USB. I have read both the manual and the Focusrite Control manual but I haven't found how to do this, although I would think it is a very basic and common thing to do.
How do you switch the interface's headphones outputs from stereo to mono (and back)? Clicking the Stereo button in Focusrite Control only links or unlinks the left and right channel, but I haven't found a way to actually listen to a mono mix.
Can anyone help with that?

.
Hi,
Just select your stereo track of your Daw to headphone 1. If your master stereo out is 3 and 4..
. Select these tracks to line out 7 and 8 in the soft mixer... By pressing mono { under the big rotory button} and it is done....
I hope you have the same software...
Or else you have to check which outputs are linked to your headphones...
Good luck

It's not about what you got to use .... but how you use what you got...

Thank you. I was hoping there was an easy way to do this from Focusrite Control instead of having to do it from the DAW.
