Hi there,
I own an audiogram 6 which has been a solid audio interface for home recording but recently the USB port has become very flimsy and only works if the USB cable is held in a certain position. I was wondering how easy it would be to replace the port, whether I could get it repaired or whether I should just get a new interface?
Here is a a picture (I hope it works) - hopefully you can see how one of the pins is damaged, I've tried moving the pin with Tweezers but this makes little difference.

Thanks for your help,
Jesse

Hi Jesse--Have you contacted Yamaha tech support? They might be able to give you an idea of whether or not there's an easy fix. I have the feeling that considering the low cost of the interface, it might not make sense to repair it unless you can get it done extremely cheaply, or free if the unit is still under warranty (which I'm guessing it isn't, based on your email). Good luck!
