Gibson Chairman and CEO Henry Juszkiewicz unveiled the company's newest invention, the Firebird X.
The Firebird X comes with built-in effects including flanger, tremolo, delay, loop, distortion, and is outfitted with a piezo 'Robot Guitar’ pickup at the bridge and three humbuckers, along with a guitar effects processing system built into the body of the instrument. Weigth should be around 2.7kg.
The Firebird X comes with Ableton Live 8 and Guitar Rig 4 Pro software, Bluetooth wireless technology, two foot pedals and rechargeable batteries.
Pricing & Availability
Suggested retail price of around $5,000 (available November 12th) with a production run limited to 1800 pieces.
