Agent, that’s the name of Nyrv Systems’ first creation, gives you the ability to chain and control VST and AU plug-ins. The software employs two pages, Channel Strip and Effect Rack that, although they look quite similar, are designed to work together the way hardware effect racks and a console channel strip would work in a real studio.
You can control in Agent up to 16 plug-ins and 96 parameters and can even combine VST and AU plug-ins in a same instance. An internal routing feature allows you to control dry/wet mix, gain, signal path and effect chain. These effect racks and channel strip can then be saved as presets and loaded in your DAW, including Pro Tools.
The Agent GUI is fully customizable, so you can change colors, type of control, customize the values displayed in and around the controls and even modify the workspace with pre-loaded or your own graphic elements.
For those who don’t have any effect plug-in, Nyrv has created semi-modular devices, among which you’ll find EQs, compressor, vintage Telefunken ECC83 tube model with triode/pentode modes, drive and bias controls for saturation and overdrive ; filters, limiter, a boost and more.
Agent has a regular price of $249.99, the Nyrv Devices are sold in a separate bundle for $99.99 but for a limited time, you can purchase the full pack for the introductory price of $149.99. You can also download a trial version from nyrvsystems.com.
