- The installation is done it without problems?
Regarding the installation, welcome digidesign, ease of use is key word, the choice of directories is easy, and it happens fast enough to copy the five DVDs that make up the bank "registered" Structure (Sound and AIR qu'EastWest Orchestral Elements). Regarding the other 10 it's a DVD version limited to 30 days of the evil bank's Eastwest GOLIATH signed too quick installation just as significant as the beginning of the bundle.
- Have you experienced any incompatibilities?
The advantage when you fall for structure is obviously conceived by Digidesign and air and therefore, this little toy of the sample appears to flawless compatibility in its environment required to have good on, Protools.
I for one runs the newly Structure 7.4 and works perfectly.
Regarding compatibility with other banks of sounds, I had no problems with some samples and piano amongst others a more comprehensive view I suggest you refer to the Digi site for a list of imports allowed.
- Operation is easy?
Contrary to what my colleague had reported their tech in its opinion (from the outside ..), structure, apart from its sound bank (we will return later) is endowed with ergonomics in my opinion seamless clear, the interface allows us to juggle so extremely readable between the different options of our 'patch', the management of the assignment keyboard, effects and all the options useful to the most demanding sound designeurs are clearly identifiable and accessible well distributed via tabs on the work surface.
The small downside in my opinion is that it is not possible to resize (enlarge finally) the Structure window, and when, in my case, it has a dual screen config, and we love quietly having his little plugin installed on the second screen 22 "and well it feels a little lonely in the large window.

On sound banks, the bulk of the heavy, EastWest, Hollywood here I am!
I certainly inflames me a little, but it is clear that the bank provided by EW has a dimension almost epic! The sections of strings, winds and all the components of an orchestra are beautifully reproduced and can be very quickly and without much treatment a powerful and consistent. At the same time those that look at least on the sound design already know that EW offers products very typical Hollywood, and
that one of its strengths (or default under) age.
The great expectation of the bank's structure was for me, the instruments developed by Geek experienced at AIR. And there, happiness, a beautiful e-piano excerpt from the excellent Velvet, and my faith very eager to get the other gem signed AIR. The guitar sounds a pretty even quite surprising, however, is a guitarist, I can not open my ears to simulations of guitars.
In short you name it and best, the bank's structure is very comprehensive, versatile and very distinctive sound design, evidenced by the few banks surround sound (airport, interior, street crowd) that have been grafted to pack and that allow those who do not have a mobile solution to record their moods to enjoy sound recordings which are impeccable.

OVERALL OPINION
Structure is a tool, versatile, very focused sound design, its sound banks, whether signed or EastWest Air, are of great quality, but has the defects of their qualities (his very Hollywood for instruments of orchestra). Exemplary ergonomics, compatibility and optimization seamlessly with its environment dedicated Protools.
Digidesign made a sensational debut in the field of virtual instruments and not only catch up its competitors but rather to supplant them in several significant areas, the bank, ergonomics, versatility.
Digi thank you for having released this magic tool that makes us see our little darling protools from a different angle, the sound design all-terrain!
