Designed for those who want to easily and quickly compose with string ensembles, Adagietto features ensembles of 11 violins, 8 violas, 6 cellos and 4 basses. In total, the library includes more than 13 000 samples for use in the full version of Kontakt 4 and 5.
The instruments were recorded in a church and sampled with 2 microphone positions. 8DIO also added a new Legato system based on velocity (11 types of legato included), various articulations, including two normal and sordino sustains, staccato, spiccato, marcato, pizzicato, along with four dynamic bowings.
Adagietto will be available on December 16th for the introductory price of $349 instead of $399. Owners of the Adagio Series libraries will be e-mailed for special pricings.
