This means that AS now offer Virtual Instruments, all of the libraries come with their own player that support advanced scripts. The UVI Workstation is the equivalent of the MachFive 3 player and is provided for free with every purchase. It works as a VST, AU, RTAS in both 32 and 64 bits and on windows and Mac.
What this means:
– AS is now fully independent from Kontakt. It is no longer necessary to own the Native Instruments player.
– all the new AcousticsampleS intstuments as well as their sophisticated scripts released last fall in the MOTU soundbank are now available for purchase on the AS website – including the Telematic guitar (99€) and the EP Mark 79 (80€).
AS now also protect their libraries with the iLok protection.
