low Do not stack the rest of the spectrum.
the midrange and treble are very pleasant to deal with even at low volume.
To precisely adjust the bass, start to push the volume (but even at half
it feels good power at low frequencies.)

- Have you tried many other models before buying it?

Just listen to the store, these are the speakers who have attracted the respect and clarity of the medium. Other speakers have sound too serious and / or fever. (At least for the price range lower than the fostex pm1)

- How would you rate the quality / price?

Good

- With experience, you do again this choice? ...

As I mix with a mid-range headphones that means everywhere except on the headphone.
With the fostex is good everywhere.
