I was looking for models of active monitors and listening daily, with a small budget. The Pro8 seduced me by their power (140W), the price of course but also the size of the woofer (8 inches) I wanted for the bass. The vent in the front I was also attracted.
I use them every day, in nearfield.

SOUNDS

Neutrality of the frequency curve: without that there is too much of these frequencies, the curve is not entirely neutral. The PRO8 are not very generous in the treble. That said, no distortion of the spectrum is obvious (well, ears) and is quite loyal. The 8 inch woofer in bass is generous, the use of a subwoofer is not required.
Dynamic: Totally respected. The PRO8 have headroom remarkable, no problem about that.
Stereo: It corresponds more to the speaker position and their individual characteristics ... But in my config ', ras, the stereo image is perfect there.
Sound: There is more than adequate in terms of precision. For the price, I'm amazed.

OVERALL OPINION

Use for 7 months, without them I may be missing once.
It's quality, nothing to say about it. The refinement are top.
The value for money is simply amazing.
What I like least? Especially knobs and LED on the rear and inaccessible.
With the same budget, I make that choice without a shadow of a doubt!
