Well i'm quite new to producing and i'm planning to pick up Yamaha HS80M's. Unfortunately I only have enough cash for 1 studio monitor at the moment so I was wondering, do you think it's a good idea to produce with only 1 studio monitor?

Hello,

Mixing with one monitor lets you mix only in mono...
I would suggest that you buy 2 cheaper monitors (M-Audio, Edirol...)
