This is a small analog mixer 12/2/4 not very practical rack. She:

12 inputs on jacks with 4 XLR microphone inputs with phantom power supply, insert jacks and Low Pass Filter
2 dparts ffects of mono jacks
2 returns ffects indpendants Stros (so it's like it's 4 in line supplmentaires!)
Bus 4 channel output jacks on the output XLR Master is galls on a quip attnuateur allowing it to be on mic branch of CAMRA, for example! ! ^_______^
Circuit monitoring indpendant Bus Master and his game possdant output jacks on
VU meters sensitive to - 30 dB + 28 ^ ^

Opportunities rglage per channel are, in order Trat signal:

Gain (Channels 1 4 only)
Lowpass input microphones (channels 1 4 only)
In a pre-or post-fader options (for expdier the sound processor in the branch on the ffects of dpart FFECT No. 1)
With only two post-fader (plutt expdier tips for the sound to return to scne)
Treble 12 KHz
Mdiums 2.5 kHz
Low 80 Hz
Panoramic
Choosing expdier the sound is on the bus 1 and bus 2 or about 3 and 4 (Malhère no possibility to send the sound to the two pairs of bus once, shame)
Choice to send the sound of the channel in order to prcoute the individual cost (equivalent SOLO)
Volume.

All connectors are TRS jacks or TS symtrique assymtrique (dtection automatic, I guess) ^________^ Possde even a set of input - output cinch to send the sound to a possibly 2-track recorder and listen to it in the sparment circuit prcoute and for a small mixer cathgorie this is deadly!
UTILIZATION
The connection is so complte it must be when even some connassances-mixing techniques in order to take advantage of the plainement bte. But apart from that, using simple, not need the manual to learn how to make it work! And being able to connect the most part of the rear vertical cable is very practical ^_______^
SOUNDS
Trs correct sounds, sound lgrement "felt", but lightweight. My goodness, now that I'm used to numrique ^______^ The qualiseurs, non Settings, sound really "Mackie" ^^^^^
OVERALL OPINION
I have been using ... immmoriaux times (no, I like) and it works just as well ^_____^ It actoy plusiques Generation of all devices, such as the multi-track (first the Tascam 464 cassette , then the Sony MDM-X4 MiniDisc, the Fostex VF-16 and finally the Akai DPS16, the last two on hard drive), I would change more often than this little Mackie ^________^ It is really indtrnable ^______^ the beginners, I was sitt clbre Mackie 1202 but the 1202 VLZ Submitted came out and saw all the possibilities of connection, I jet above and now almost 10 years APRS, I do not ENTSO ^________^
Mackie has released the 1202 VLZ Pro is exactly the same: I see no diffrence between the two MODELS. It parat she has pramplis better quality but still prove. And I'm not going to change just for a Pro
Now is the Mackie Onyx 1220 which succde: a 12 inputs (excluding effects returns), which has an optional FireWire interface that allows numriser 24-bit 96 KHz and send each channel to the computer. Alas, the channels are just prlevs APRS pramplis the microphones (I know it is certainly the case on the Onyx 1620: I guess it's the same thing on the Onyx 1220 ...). In other words, they can not take advantage of Malhère SETTING THE PAN made before mixing and the volume fader (I think especially qualisation). They can not even enjoy the effects that can be plugged into the insert jacks :-((( And nothing that because of this, she has little interest for me. Especially since it bulkier parat ...
APRs have long used to grate the circuit prcoute of my little home studio (since my Fostex VF-16 does not possde circuit prcoute Intgr) I use it now to grate devices most "Loig" (on another table): as it has XLR outputs symtriques, she also serves as a DI box on which I plug a pair of XLR Cables of 10 m going on my Akai DPS16 current multitrack.
Well, now, APRS long (tens of) years of loyal service, it is just finishing his life in the installation of my girlfriend, its circuit monitoring with lch but its bus master still functioning perfect.
