For specifications, see the other view. And Roland synths knows how long!

UTILIZATION

The config is typical of an analog. It was logically various checks on hand. A little less for the vagueness of the settings if you are a perfectionist. There are faults in machines emulating analog. But beware, this little bike can still surprise you.
Manual means.

SOUNDS

In terms of sound, the SH201 gives you what you make of it. Namely, as with any analog can be obtained basses, leads, tablecloths, effects, twisted stuff ... and he does everything pretty well. The surprise is that for the price it is capable of the best: the low or sub-bass sound, you can program synthstrings groundwater or well wide, metallic sounds or techno or dance. Small flat for leads: it lacks roundness, for sure we are not Moog. But dual-mode (twice two oscilloscope) even the old school colors addicted typed or Arp Oberheim navigate.
Special mention to the overdrive, which is not necessarily a gadget on this bike, it boosts you all with a small side "cradouille" very nice.
It is true that the adjustment effects is unclear, but there are just that extra. We can also bypass directly to the control panel.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 6 months. I had a lot of machines, and I bought it as a synth extra easy to carry, mainly for the stage to hand analog types of sounds. I was told that for the price I do not risk much, especially it can be used in plug-in configuration studio. Well not only I was not disappointed, but I realized that he could give more than expected!
Of course it's not upscale, but is versatile enough and the sound is generally the appointment. And again, from the price: hats off.
To be completed with a Little Phatty for leads and you have an analog set like Swiss Army knife!
