Apogee Electronics R&D is working on a new type of digital audio interface based on the new Intel Thunderbolt technology integrated in Apple's new MacBook Pros.
According to Apogee Electronics, Thunderbolt technology could make it possible to go beyond the frustration of having to choose between connectivity standards for audio production, and might even replace USB 3, FireWire 800, PCI cards standards in the future.
