No inputs with control software Scarlett 10i20 2nd gen

Topic No inputs with control software Scarlett 10i20 2nd gen
I just purchased a focusrite Scarlett 2nd gen and no inputs are acknowledged in the control software. I can set my outputs, my word clock, sample rate but no inputs. I am on a mac os 10.10 Yosemite. I am running Logic pro x and Protools 10. The interface shows up in both software and I have no problem with instrument tracks but audio tracks is a no go. The input light on my focusrite panel is green. Has anyone had this issue. I thank you ahead of time for your help.
