I'm starting to get a little bored of the predictability and transparency of the EQs and comps that I have. Just wondering if anyone on AF has plug-ins that really add a hint of color to your tracks? I'm considering experimenting and buying/downloading more to beef up my arsenal.

Thanks.

Audio Damage's Rough Rider compressor (veryyyy aggressive, but free and fun to play with)

I also like Slate's FG-116 FET COMPRESSOR (part of their VMR)
