UTILIZATION
Setup could not be more simple for me, I don not need to have 8 in and 8 out, but of a single channel of audio to capture the votes taken correct! So I plug my mic in XLR (microphone rode ntk tube), I did a lil of adjustable eq, the trio converted (andi converters from the port) and sends it in Nuendo by spdif optical conexion (48 kHz for my part , c is more than enough).
frankly sound and nickel, the dynamics and all that it takes to get a more than satisfactory results.
c is in fact that I adore, this little gem is not bocoup of adjustments to make (c quend is important you work alone), I slightly reduces the bass and midrange boost and I barely highs (for my voice well on). I do not bocoup appeal to the comp, and I touch my face very few plug ins on the PC
for the manual is simple, clear and precise
SOUND QUALITY
The sound is excellent (I have not yet connected n d c is for instruments but soon)
the péampli is transparent (Class A)
j have the impression that my microphone and more sensitive, there is a bright, something that I had not before (comparable to the acquisition of voice that I did it with a Numann U87)
before the trio, I had a slice JOEMEEK Three q, and I must admit I was disappointed ke j, there is stuff to set up and the sound of my microphone was too serious medium even boosting the treble. in fact the microphone is now balanced, c to d that using some plug ins like EQ Timeworks I can see the frequencies and actually act on some of them because they are all there ...

OVERALL OPINION
I used the last two or three months
is frankly not least, for me j finds even more than what I was looking to leave! I recall that I was looking for a strip to catch votes (one at a time!) j and of course had not the means to invest in the Avalon or even in a eureka!
for value, we must say that I got the 199 euros in a playback (promotion of egg), today it costs 339 euros, so we will say that I've been lucky!
yes I chilled this choice, but at the same price, maybe even at 339 euros if I had had!
