1 why nobody talks about double Conro 2's or double Xeons at that matter
Hi, I have been looking for a powerfull PC ideas for Music Production DAW in the Internet. I have searched 100's of sites and never even heard a double 'any bloody proccessor' system! Like Xeon or Xeon2! I never heard Pentium 965 Extreme edition or a Conroe II Extreme edition mentioned in any article or how to or forum either! And don't tell me you never will need two of the XEON II double core CPU! So I invite anybody who has anything to say about this. Yes I know It will be pretty expensive senarios for most but time is very expensive too...

Well, you could always go with a dual opteron system from AMD. The new zeons are pretty solid too, but the opterons still seem the most effective for a high powered DAW.
