Just curious if anybody is aware of a sound card driver that doesn't not output sound to anything, but just swallows it? I'd like to set my default sound card to a "null" driver of sorts so that any random app sounds, bleeps, blips, clicks, etc, are not outputted. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

That sounds like a handy thing to have... I would be interested in somthing like that but possibly with a loopback sort of feature so you can send audio to the null driver and then anything set to record audio from that null device would hear it. see what I'm saying? That way, for example I could hook up my radio station to anything that makes sound without having to hear the sound myself. or make a google talk audio chatroom. Anyone know of somthing like this? preferably free! Thanks!
