HI I have an Intel Pentium 4 processor and its at least 3.0 ghz. I have 160 gig hd and a gig of ram. I am recording through a presonus Firepod 24 bit recording interface. I get a couple pops and clicks when I record an instrument. Can you please tell me the different things I can do, and how to do them to stop this problem?

What software are you using for recording? You need to make sure you're using the latest drivers for ALL your devices.

Yea I have the blue light, I have the latency all the way down so ill turn it up a litlle.

I belive you need a solid blue light in the sync indicator. If you have solid blue then I think you can increase the "latency setting" in the firepod control panel.
