Thread burning cds

i saw recently that when i burned my songs to a cd, that when i put it in to play it recognized it as an audio cd and each song was named after its file extension, i was wondering if anyone knows how to put in information so that a program like windows media player could show the album art/ band name etc.

this is something you have to check for in your burning software.. usually you can edit the artist/songname for each track so it shows you these tags..

if you convert the songs from mp3's for instance you can first edit the id3-tags and then inport them into your burning software..
