hello everyone!
Well, i'm investing in a brand new computer which will be studio based. One of my biggest problems is that i'm not educated on soundcards inparticular. I've heard a lot about Creative's Audigy 2, but i've also heard bad about it. Could someone please point me in the right direction, their opinions, or what you use???? thank you very much

well imho it depends on what u wanna work with..

do u use midi only? do u use audio? (i.e. wav-samples)
should it support asio drivers? wmd? gsif??
how much do you want to spend??

there's lots of possibilities, and there is no BEST soundcard, so that's always a very difficult question

edit: also this should have been posted in the "soundcards" forum ;)
