How to record with USB audio interface

A friend just gave me a Tascam us-122 usb audio interface, but didn't have any software for it. i managed to find the driver software so the thing works now. how do i start recording some sound? what software will actually recognize the usb input? good free software preferably...

wat it do.. i dunno who gone read this.. but im new to tha block.. i got tha same issue.. i just got my tascam us-122 from a friend.. w/o any software.. i downloaded the driver and all..and i need to know what software i could use to record with.... square business.. check out my music...
