Getting that commercial stereo mix can anyone help

Hi,
we write proffessional music productions in the dance genre but we still cant seem to get that stereo sounding mix no matter how much panning we do, we are running Logic 8, is there a secret tool which gives a sparkling stereo commercial sound which we dont know about??

any help would be much appreciated

What are you useing for fx ie; reverbs,compression,etc
Get yourself a good "mastering suite" plug-in from "WAVES" and the like.
